Chaundra has been a nurse practitioner since 2007 at Island Health on Vancouver Island in B.C. She practiced in Port Hardy for 10 years in a primary care family practice with a focus on marginalized populations, prenatal and postnatal care and mental health and addictions clients. Since 2017 she has been the NP Department Head and NP Clinical Lead providing clinical oversight and support to over 70 Island health NPs.
