Lynne Lafrance
I have been in the nursing field since 1991, started practicing as an NP in 2008. I was born and raised in northwestern Ontario and have thoroughly enjoyed working in the same region for my nursing career. I have had the opportunity to work in the hospital setting, in a clinic as a Diabetes Health Educator & clinical nurse, as an emergency first responder and and currently as an NP at the Greenstone Family Health Team. I am married with two grown children and will be retiring in the next 1-3 years. During my free time I love biking, fishing, hunting, reading and spending time with my family. This opportunity to help with promoting evidence-based preventive health practices in primary care is exciting and I’m sure will be rewarding and I am looking forward to the upcoming months as a new member of this team.
